The demonstration site is updated to 3.25. The full 3.25 release is now available for download, also.

The translation system is moving forward. There is now a largely complete Serbian translation, due to the work of Vedran Vucic in providing a translation from a .po file. (and ongoing feedback on the results). We are also working on a Khmer version. We should have a largely complete .po file available shortly (to allow use with translation tools like kBabel to do the translation). The OA translation tools will provide the ability to extract values from the .po file, and rewrite both html and cgi scripts with translated values. There will likely still need to be a few translations done for large paragraphs, etc. for a full release in alternate languages. Please contact me if you would like to start on alternate language versions.

The IEP system has been rewritten to add session management and translation functionality so it can run in different languages. The new Pre-Kindergarten report card system is largely complete and will be tested in early fall (Sept/Oct). These updates will go out with the 3.25 release even if not fully tested (but will be marked as such). The 3.25 release will be out in early August in time for installation for new school year here.

The transcript system scripts are now updated with a posting script that can do posting rewrites in the event of mark errors. It also supports averaging of terms to give an averaged value rather than just a final term value. These scripts also fully support the new graddate (graduation date) field in the transcriptident and student tables. These scripts are available in the Updated Files for 3.00a and will also be integrated in the 3.25 release.
